This policy describes how Maderas Mesoamericanas collects and uses information on https://maderasma.com. It applies to the public site, the contact form and the language switcher — not to a third-party mill visit or a purchase contract, which have their own paperwork.
Who we are
Maderas Mesoamericanas supplies responsibly sourced tropical hardwoods from the Mesoamerican Selva Maya for furniture, outdoor work, flooring, musical instruments and marine joinery. Our website address is https://maderasma.com. For privacy questions write to frontdesk@maderasma.com.
Contact form
When you submit the form on this site we store your name, email address, species of interest and message so the front desk can reply. That record is used only to answer the inquiry and keep a short working history of the conversation. We do not sell it, append it to a marketing list or share it with advertisers.
The same note is emailed to frontdesk@maderasma.com so the team can write you back. If you ask us to erase the inquiry, we delete the stored copy and stop using it.
Cookies
The site may set a session cookie so the application can remember language preference and keep a form from being sent twice. These cookies are not used to build a marketing profile. They expire when the browser session ends, unless you stay signed in to the content studio.
Language
The public language switcher may load a translation script so English and Spanish visitors can read the same pages. That script is provided by a third party and may process the page text in order to translate it. Species names and a few locked labels stay in the wording we publish, so the catalog stays accurate.
Photos, video and embedded content
Catalog photographs, mill video and partner embeds appear on species, category and home pages. If you send us images with a project brief, avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Embedded content from other websites behaves as if you visited that other site, and those sites may collect data or set cookies according to their own policies.
How long we keep data
Contact inquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and keep a record of the conversation, then deleted on request or when they are no longer required for that work.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. Write to frontdesk@maderasma.com and we will handle it from the same desk that answers species questions.
