Exceptional wood starts in a living forest, not in a showroom. The species we ship — mahogany, teak, tzalam, catalox, Machinche and the rest of the catalog — come from the Mesoamerican Selva Maya and are specified for people who have to make something that lasts.
That is why the site is organized the way a mill thinks: one inventory, followed by five end uses. Indoor furniture, outdoor work, flooring, musical instruments and marine joinery all draw from the same graded stock. The difference is thickness, cut and which properties we put first — color, stability, rot resistance or tone.
If you are specifying a job, write the front desk with the application and the size. We would rather match a species to the work than sell a pretty name that will not hold up.
